Alfter Outdoor Session

This time I had a solid and waterproof pavilion with me. This allowed for a session in the wild and I chose a horse paddock near Alfter near Bonn.

It was the first time in this constellation and therefore the set up took quite a while and before I got to make music it was already dark for a long time and also quite cool.

The session went on into the morning hours and as a reward we had a beautiful sunrise in the presence of two very curious horses. They didn’t take it amiss though and after a while our activities weren’t that interesting anymore, which made them retreat to their big meadow.

What I had not quite considered when choosing the location at dusk was the possibility that the owners of the horses might come by, which just happened around noon. They were first very surprised and unfortunately not very enthusiastic about the fact that I had set up a small pre-production studio on their property and to all indignation even on their parking lot.

Of course we then immediately initiated the retreat and were quite happy that everything went smoothly in the end. All in all it was a successful and exciting action with a happy end.

Here is an excerpt of the production made there:

“It was fantastic and exciting, a real little adventure.”
